How's Your Promise of Tomorrow Doing?

How’s your Promise of Tomorrow Doing?

What will you do with your tomorrow?   Will you embark on a new adventure?   Will you set sail across uncharted waters?   Will you realize the promise of the day and embrace it with arms outstretched?

Here it is April, and as I looked outside this morning and saw the snow on the ground and flakes flying I have to admit my heart sank. When will it be Spring? The bible says in due season we will reap a harvest. I began to think about tomorrow and what it could look like.

As my heart began to be encouraged I started to paint a picture in my mind of what tomorrow could look like. Here’s what I discovered; I have to ACT on “those” days or things begin to shrink and will eventually die.

So I encourage you to use the following pattern:

A - Apply – Take action on what you learn and apply these things to your life

C – Change - Be mindful of what needs to change and so will your direction

T – Transfer – Transfer to others what you have learned

I’ve heard the phrase “Life is short, eat dessert first!” Well, ladies, it’s time to dig in. I saw a picture of a donut with hot pink frosting and sprinkles on a beautiful plate. Sounds great, eh? Well this one was on fire. I mean flames reaching six inches high! The caption said “Burning Calories”. I loved it immediately! I mean, let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to eat doughnuts and not have it faze their figure? Well, I’m challenging you today to see yourself as a blazing doughnut. Someone filled with amazing possibilities with so much potential. Let this powerful thing catch on fire, will you? There isn’t a thing that can put that fire out but you. Put away the hose, get out the can of lighter fluid and matches and go girl!
